The countdown is on for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. This September the French Riviera welcomes Europe's largest yacht show signifying the opening act of the boat show season. From 9 - 14 September more that 600 boats will be on display across Vieux Port and Port Canto from sleek ribs to 50m Superyachts. This year, yacht shipyards unveiled stunning new yachts that redefine innovation design and luxury. Here are the top 5 premieres at Cannes 2025.
LAGOON EIGHTY 2

Type: Catamaran

Key features: 4 cabins, owners suite with unfolding private terrace, integrated solar panels, 50sqm flybridge lounge
Why it matters: With length just under 25m Lagoon Eighty 2 combines luxury, innovation and sustainability. The 11m Beam offers exceptional space and effortless access between indoor and outdoor space. The 50sqm flybridge lounge offers stunning panoramic view, ideal for relaxation.
Her interior is flexible and can be customised according to the owners needs. The owners suite is one of the absolute best futures as it offers a balcony that fold out from the hull and can be used as a terrace on the water, creating a unique feeling of closeness to the sea.
But Lagoon Shipyard didn't stop there. Complying with the global demand towards sustainability, Lagoon Eighty 2 features integrated solar panels and an advanced battery system enabling long stays at anchor without the use of a generator. The combination of comfort, privacy and eco-friendly design, makes her one of the best yachts in her class for long trips.
M/Y BIG NAAN - COLUMBUS CROSSOVER 42 SERIES

M/Y ANDIAMO - SANLORENZO SD 132

Why it matters: M/Y ANDIAMO is the first unit of Sanlorenzo's SD 132 Series. Why it matters:Launched in July 2025, the new flagship Silent 80 (SY80), is officially open to the public in Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. SY80 it comes in 3deck and 2 deck version. The 3-deck design comes with an open version providing a total 84sqm sky lounge space for breathtaking 360 views mixing sun and shade and can be customised to owner's needs. The closed 3-deck version features an owner's suite with a private 41sqm aft terrace. Silent 80 is no exception to the shipyard's commitment to sustainability and innovation. It is solar power and fully electric, promising a silent, near zero-emission cruising experience. Her top speed is at 12 knots and she can cruise comfortably at 7-8 knots. With 10.93m beam she can accommodate up to 12 guests and includes expansive lounge areas, generous storage for water toys and signature Made in Italy craftsmanship.
